Exciting times today- I got home after work to find this little beauty sat on my doormat...
That's right; one of the first hard copies of book 2 for Dracula's America! I suspect I may have made a small, high-pitched mew of joy at that point...
A nice, glossy, 96-page softback- heftier than I was expecting, but then I did get carried away writing it!
Ah, but it gets better- on the back page there was this:
Better finish the play-testing then, eh?!

Looks great! Paperback this time?
ReplyDeleteWhen? How soon? I wants it! Love the first book, by the way.
ReplyDelete@Christopher Regan: Yep- Osprey are following the Frostgrave model, with a hardback main book and paperback supplements!
ReplyDelete@Leo Donkersley: I believe sometime in January. And many thanks- glad you enjoy the game!
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteHowdy, Paboook- yep, Osprey know how to make a mighty fine looking book!
ReplyDeleteHi Jonathan, great game, congratulations. One design question came to my mind: Why have the players to roll of if they have, let's say, one 9 of spades and one 9 of clubs? Wouldn't it be faster and easier to say: spades beats clubs, hearts beat diamonds? The roll of seems to slow down the game unnecessarily (at least so it seams to me).
ReplyDeleteKind regards
Gerhard
Hi Jonathan, I agree with Gerhard, it's a great game.
ReplyDeleteI have a silly question, when the players are in the Hunting Grounds (red card and everything is a plane), how do the figures interact? Can they fire their weapons? Is it only for melee fighting? What is the interest to summon a creature if it's too risky?
Best regards.
Juan Carlos.
